The following are CMCP’s current subcommittees. We are considering creating additional subcommittees, so please check back. If you are interested in joining or finding out more about a subcommittee, contact that subcommittee’s CMCP Contact.

CMCP Annual Conference Committee
CMCP Contact: Marci Rubin (415) 782-8935;
The 2014 committee is set. Contact CMCP before year-end if you are interested for the 2015 conference.

This committee is responsible for CMCP’s signature event, the Annual Business Conference held in the fall. Committee members change annually after each year’s conference. Duties include identifying potential conference panel topics and speakers, recruiting speakers, taking responsibility for all aspects of a conference panel, potentially moderating or serving on a panel, soliciting conference sponsors and corporate participants for "Corporate Connections”, publicizing the conference within and outside each member’s organization, and assisting with other parts of the conference as determined during the course of conference planning.

Committee members also serve as on-site conference hosts, and are profiled on CMCP’s conference website. Committee members must be able to participate in regularly scheduled conference committee calls and smaller working group meetings from January through the conference, and attend the full conference.

E-Newsletter Committee

This committee is responsible for writing and/or finding other CMCP member attorneys to write the content for the CMCP E-newsletter. Click here for E-newsletter details. The committee meets only as needed, and most communication is by email.

Program Committee
CMCP Contact: Marci Rubin;

The responsibilities of this committee are to identify, create and plan substantive CMCP programs separate from the Annual Business Conference. Duties include developing program ideas, vetting program ideas from other CMCP members, recruiting appropriate speakers and program sponsors, finding appropriate venues, taking responsibility for all aspects of a specific program, potentially moderating or serving on a program panel, soliciting program sponsors, and facilitating CMCP staff in publicizing programs within and outside each member’s organization.The committee meets monthly by phone, and as needed with respect to specific program planning.
