INSIDE DIVERSITY VIII

In the wake of recent events in cities across the country, Americans’ views on race relations in the U.S. have grown significantly more pessimistic. Studies show that, for the first time since the 1990s, the majority of Americans believe that race relations in America are bad – and getting worse. What can we as individuals and employers do to make a difference?

DLA Piper, ACC-SoCal and California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP) invite you to an evening of open dialog examining the current state of race relations in America and how we as legal employers can help our organizations have constructive conversations about the issues. Leading the discussion will be Vernā Myers, a nationally recognized expert and author on diversity and inclusion. The conversation will be highly interactive and informative.

The evening will conclude with the 2015 Profiles IN Diversity Award and a networking reception.

Please note: This year’s event will be held in Century City and will start a little later than in prior years. Space is limited.
