The Western Justice Center, California Minority Counsel Program and Seyfarth Shaw invite you to attend a special MCLE Program a Compassion Plays performance of Horizon Line, written by Peter Howard and performed by Kevin Blake.
Compassion Plays is an ENCOMPASS program presented by the Western Justice Center. The program uses live theater and facilitated dialogue to challenge prejudice and inspire transformative conversation.

Horizon Line explores bias-motivated behavior through the eyes of Danny Curtis a young man on a path of escalating destruction and the people in his life who influence his choices, for better and for worse.
Western Justice Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a more civil, peaceful society where differences are valued. WJC designs and implements creative programs that change the way people think about and respond to differences and conflict. These programs raise awareness, build skills and increase the possibility of just communities and schools.

The California Minority Counsel Program is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation, dedicated to promoting diversity in the legal profession by providing attorneys of color with access and opportunity for business and professional development.

Seyfarth Shaw values diversity and inclusion, and has developed more than 20 supporting programs. The firm focuses on three key dimensions of diversity and inclusion: strengthening talent; implementing an organizational strategy; and building internal-external networks.
