Terence’s practice focuses on complex business litigation and class action defense. He has opposed class actions involving financial products, insurance and annuity sales practices, mortgage lending and servicing, mobile devices and consumer electronics, internet advertising, wage and hour claims, and medical devices. In addition to class actions, Terence has handled a broad range of high-stakes disputes, including contract, licensing, fraud, business tort, real estate, trade secret, and trademark matters. Many of his cases have involved claims under California’s Unfair Competition Law, Business and Professions Code Section 17200. He has represented clients in trials and arbitrations, has defeated numerous claims through dispositive motions, and has favorably settled matters through mediation or other means. Terence also has substantial experience prosecuting and defending requests for injunctions or other expedited relief and is well versed in the area of electronic discovery.
