Daniel Aguilar is an associate in the San Francisco office, where he focuses his practice on employment litigation and counseling matters.
Daniel has experience defending employers in class actions and single-plaintiff cases. With respect to class actions, Daniel has experience defending clients involved in meal and rest period claims, “off the clock” claims, failure to reimburse claims, actions involving misclassification issues, claims under the Private Attorneys General Act, and other related matters in both California state court and federal courts. With respect to single-plaintiff matters, Daniel represents clients in all types of employment disputes, including those involving claims of discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination.
Daniel also has experience litigating employee mobility issues, including cases involving trade secret misappropriation, employee and customer raiding, breach of contract and restrictive covenants disputes, and other unlawful business practices.
Daniel also advises clients on how to avoid disputes. He provides day-to-day counseling to employers in connection with employment policies, procedures, and compliance. He also has assisted employers in developing human resource policies and employee handbooks.
