  Kimberly’s practice focuses primarily on labor and employment matters. She represents employers in wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation and wage and hour litigation. Along with substantial litigation and trial skills, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge to Squire Sanders regarding wage and hour class actions, disability discrimination and various employment-related issues on the federal and state level. Kimberly also provides practical employment law advice to clients regarding employment policies and practices, terminations and employment agreements.

Before joining Squire Sanders, Kimberly handled a myriad of cases in employment law, entertainment litigation, personal injury and general civil litigation. She also clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office Hardcore Gang Unit.

Each year since 2011 she has been selected as a Southern California Rising Star, a distinction that recognizes the top 2.5% of lawyers in the region under the age of 40 or those in practice for 10 years or less.

Prior to her career in law, Kimberly was a human resources manager for a major retailer in California and spent several years in corporate retail management.

Kimberly is a member of the Labor & Employment Sections of the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She is also a member of the John M. Langston Bar Association and the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Los Angeles.
