Simron's practice is focused on intellectual property protection, counseling, and licensing issues. This includes trademark and copyright protection; trademark clearance, prosecution and policing; negotiating and drafting of a range of agreements regarding the protection, development, licensing, distribution and transfer of intellectual property. She also has experience representing employers in a variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters. During law school, Simron participated in a mediation clinic, assisting in the resolution of disputes in San Francisco Small Claims Court, and was an active member of the Women's Law Association. Before attending law school, she worked for an education nonprofit in San Francisco's public schools and as a Research Associate on a multi-million dollar National Institutes of Health study.
