Zuber Lawler & Del Duca Partner Ryan Smith is Named in OBABL’s Power 100 List

Zuber Lawler & Del Duca is pleased to announce that Ryan Smith has been selected as one of the top 100 most influential African American attorneys working in government, academics, and both the public and private sectors in the United States by On Being a Black Lawyer ("OBABL”). Established in 2008 under its parent organization, Lawyers of Color, Inc., the OBABL has been recognized by the American Bar Association, Thomas Reuters and the National Black Law Student Association. This is OBABL’s 2nd Annual Power 100 List. Smith, along with other nominees will be honored at a reception in Washington. D.C. on February 27, 2013.

Nominees are chosen for their experience, skill and character. The list includes law school deans, executives, law firm partners, government and academic leaders, media news professionals, and engineers; all of whom will be featured in the OBABL’s 2013 Power 100 Special Edition publication.

As a partner at Zuber Lawler & Del Duca, Mr. Smith specializes in entertainment representing leading motion picture, television production and distribution companies as well as top producers, directors, writers and performers. He is also a fast rising star in the news industry, and in June of this year was promoted to lead anchor on HLN’s prime time show Evening Express.

"I’m grateful to OBABL for including me on their 2013 Power 100 List,” says Smith, "and I’m honored to be counted among such notable colleagues in the African American legal community.”

"We are extremely proud of Ryan and congratulate him for his inclusion on OBABL’s Power 100 List,” says Tom Zuber, founder of Zuber Lawler and Del Duca. "Ryan’s inclusion on this list is an incredible honor and significant evidence of his growing stature and influence in both the legal and news industries.”
