2014 Diversity and Education Pipeline Awards


The State Bar Council on Access & Fairness is seeking nominations for the 2014 Diversity and Education Pipeline Awards.
Nominations deadline for both awards is March 31, 2014.
Awards will be presented at the Diversity Reception during the State Bar Annual Meeting in San Diego on September 13, 2914.

DIVERSITY AWARDS
About the Diversity Awards

The State Bar of California Diversity Awards were established by the Board of Trustees to recognize outstanding efforts made by a bar association, law firm, organization or attorney to promote diversity in the legal profession, in their organization or among their peers. The awards are given each year at a reception held during the State Bar's Annual Meeting.

Nomination process

Each year the State Bar solicits nominations from across California. All submissions are reviewed by the State Bar's Council on Access & Fairness, which provides recommendations to the Board of Trustees.

EDUCATION PIPELINE AWARD
About the Education Pipeline Award

The State Bar of California Board of Trustees established the Education Pipeline Award in 2008 to recognize outstanding efforts of law-related educational programs that train and support students who are interested in the judicial system and careers in the law. The recipient is honored during a presentation at the Education Pipeline Award reception at the State Bar's Annual Meeting.

Nomination process

Each year, the State Bar solicits nominations for the Education Pipeline Award from across California. All submissions are reviewed by the State Bar's Council on Access & Fairness, which provides recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
