For First Year Law Students and Attorneys

We are pleased to offer 1L law students with diverse backgrounds the opportunity to join attorneys from our BALRA law firm members for an evening of networking. Law students from UC Berkeley, UC Davis, GGU, UC Hastings, Santa Clara, Stanford, UOP McGeorge and USF law schools will be invited to participate. Last year, over 50 attorneys and 50 law students participated in this event, and we hope that once again, this BALRA-sponsored program will serve as a foundation for developing professional relationships between law students and attorneys in the Bay Area legal community.

The evening will begin with a 60-minute networking program followed by a reception. During the speed networking portion, participants will engage in 6 one-on-one conversations, each lasting 10 minutes. Suggested topics of discussion will be provided to the participants to assist the flow of conversation. Attorneys and law students may continue networking informally during the reception.
