CMCP Board Member Craig Holden, Partner at Lewis Brisbois, named 2014-15 CA State Bar President
LOS ANGELES, July 18, 2014 – Los Angeles attorney Craig Holden was elected today as president of The State Bar of California for 2014-2015.
Holden, 44, will be sworn in as the 90th president of the entity that oversees California’s 249,000 licensed lawyers – the largest lawyer regulatory body in the United States with a $150 million budget – at the State Bar’s Annual Meeting in September in San Diego.
Also elected Friday and assuming office in September: Heather Linn Rosing, 42, of Klinedinst PC in San Diego, as vice president; and Michael Colantuono, 42, of Colantuono & Levin PC of Penn Valley, as treasurer.
Holden currently serves as vice president and ran unopposed in the Board of Trustees election. He is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and is co-chairman of the firm's commercial litigation practice.
