Peter D. Bewley 2003 CMCP Steering Committee Chair, and SVP, Secretary and GC, The Clorox Company
From 2003 Annual Report – Letter from Steering Committee Chair

That is but one example of the vitality of the organization and the value that its substantive offerings provide to the legal community.
Participating in CMCP allows corporate counsel to recruit and retain attorneys from a variety of backgrounds and keep up-to-date on the latest topics in the law through CMCP's educational seminars and conferences. For the outside counsel members, CMCP offers a
professional network and opportunities to showcase their skills.
The Clorox Company has been actively involved with the California Minority Counsel Program since 1990.
Very positive relationships with minority counsel have been developed through the CMCP and continue to be developed.
Clorox plans to continue its active participation in the California Minority Counsel Program at the various conferences and seminars with a major focus on both meeting new minority counsel and maintaining relationships with those already known to it.
