From 2003 Annual Report – Letter from Steering Committee Chair
The Program enters 2003 following a year of strong programmatic and financial performance supporting this critical mission. CMCP's Annual Business Conference in San Francisco in November drew a record turnout and resulted in over 200 interviews for minority lawyers with in house counsel. That is but one example of the vitality of the organization and the value that its substantive offerings provide to the legal community.

Participating in CMCP allows corporate counsel to recruit and retain attorneys from a variety of backgrounds and keep up-to-date on the latest topics in the law through CMCP's educational seminars and conferences. For the outside counsel members, CMCP offers a
professional network and opportunities to showcase their skills.
