Gordon & Rees Partner Patricia Lee-Gulley Installed as
President of Orange County Asian American Bar Association

On May 9, Gordon & Rees partner Patricia Lee-Gulley was installed as the 20th president of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association (OCAABA) at a well-attended installation gala. Gordon & Rees was a Platinum Sponsor at the benchmark event held at the Hilton Irvine.

Founded in 1993, OCAABA has grown to 200 members. Patricia will lead OCAABA to expand its professional development programs, its Pipeline Committee projects with local law schools, and its Community Service Committee projects to serve Orange County.

Marci Rubin, executive director of the California Minority Counsel Program (CMCP), attended the OCAABA gala to honor Patricia’s installation as president of the county’s pan-Asian bar association. Patricia is the CMCP executive secretary and Gordon & Rees is a CMCP firm member.

On May 18, Patricia was inducted into the Western State College of Law Hall of Fame and recognized for her exemplary career and outstanding community and professional service. Western State has a large base of 11,000-plus alumni and a strong presence in California and the West. The National Jurist named Western State to its "Diversity Honor Roll” of the top 20 most diverse American Bar Association-accredited law schools based on Jurist’s evaluation of faculty and student diversity (breadth of races in student body and faculty). Western State ranked 16th out of more than 200 American law schools and fourth among California schools.

Patricia is a partner in Gordon & Rees’s Orange County office and has a Martindale-Hubbell peer rating of AV Preeminent.
