Thank You!
To all of the speakers, sponsors, volunteers, exhibitors, conference committee members, CMCP members and other CMCP friends who attended CMCP's 22nd Annual Business Conference...
Thank You from the CMCP Board and Staff... and give yourselves well-deserved congratulations. Your active participation and engagement -- and your willingness to put yourselves out there, sometimes stepping outside your comfort zones, and to make connections -- are what made this year's conference such a huge success and a big win for everyone.
This was the most well-attended and highest-sponsored CMCP Conference ever. But attendance and sponsorship alone do not make a great conference. That comes in part by the hard work and pre-conference planning done by CMCP staff and our incredible 2011 Conference Planning Committee volunteers. But it comes primarily from the active engagement and participation of every one of you. You proved that the CMCP Annual Business Conference is one huge opportunity to learn and connect. And you took advantage of that at every opportunity -- in the hallways, at the receptions, during the panels, whether or not you had Corporate Connections interviews. Wherever you were, connections were made.
CMCP will follow-up soon with post-conference highlights and photos. Meanwhile, don't forget to follow-up yourselves on those connections made -- let this year's conference continue working for you. And...

A.C.T. is offering CMCP members and friends a discount on tickets to David Mamet's play RACE opening Friday, October 21, 2011. A hit on Broadway this past season, RACE sets forth a power struggle between three attorneys as they take on a shocking and brutal case - a sensational trial in which a white executive has been charged with physically assaulting an African American woman in his hotel room. When the race card is played, alliances between the attorney's shift, and perceptions of justice no longer remain black and white. RACE explores the issues of race and the legal profession, in and out of the courtroom, as well as the law-office board room. No topic is off-limits in this thrilling new play from of one of America's greatest playwrights.
Save up to $40 a ticket! To order, visit and enter code LAWYER when prompted. Discount available on orchestra and mezzanine seats for all performances through October 30. All tickets subject to availability.
NOTE:Some November performances of RACE will be followed by discussions led by members of the Bay Area legal community. CMCP will circulate that information via this mailing list once we get the details from A.C.T. Those are outside the scope of this discounted ticket offer. We're just letting everyone know as for some those may be of greater interest.
